Desktop Destruction

Health Warning

Please read before playing.

Photosensitive seizure warning

A very small number of people may have a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games. Even people with no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these photosensitive epileptic seizures while watching video games.

Desktop Destruction has bright flashes and fast-changing images: explosions, muzzle flashes, fire, sparks, laser beams, shaking of the screen and flickering light.

Stop playing at once and see a doctor if you have any of these

  • lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching;
  • jerking or shaking of the arms or legs;
  • disorientation, confusion or a momentary loss of awareness;
  • loss of consciousness or convulsions (which can lead to injury from falling or striking nearby objects).

Parents should watch for or ask their children about these symptoms: children and teenagers are more likely than adults to have these seizures.

To reduce the risk

  • Play in a well-lit room and sit farther from the screen.
  • Do not play when you are tired or need sleep.
  • Take a 10 to 15 minute break every hour.

If you or anyone in your family has had a seizure or epilepsy, talk to a doctor before playing.

If you feel unwell while playing, stop and rest.

Content

The game is cartoon violence on your own desktop: faces from photos can be cut, shot, burnt and drawn on, and the flesh material bleeds. It is a game about wrecking pictures, not people.
